OUR HISTORY
In 1984 our father Abdul Azize Mussa started this business as a small seafood wholesaler in the then Bophuthatswana. Our geographical location being land locked and a threshold population inadequate to sustain an entity with seafoods as its primary offering incited change
The company diversified its product offering attuned to the wants and needs of the local population. Therefore, evoked name change to Mafikeng Fish and Meat Market.. After some time the meat side of our business became our primary offering to which we became in 1999, Meat SA.
The business has passed on a generation under the management of Mr AA Mussa's sons, Mohammed Riaz and Shaheer, during such a time have grown our product offering to: fresh/frozen, Beef/Lamb/Poultry/Processed Meats and allied products. Meat SA sources only the finest products/ingredients from its suppliers whom are all accredited with FSA/HACCP and BRC certification, that way we ensure safety to our customers/consumers. All products are handled with stringent hygiene management at our facility drastically upgraded to cope with the increasing demands from the industry and customers.
